Filipinos are known for having the sweetest smile in the world, a simple smile will lighten each of our day, but what about those children suffering from facial deformities? Can they still have that sweet smile? That is why, Operation Smile an organization that has changed the lives of thousands of children and young adults around the world suffering from congenital facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate was founded.
FRIENDS, Operation Smile will celebrate its 30th year on November 2012 and they targeted to have a free life changing reconstructive surgery mission to atleast 1,500 Filipino children and young adults. Reaching this goal, they come up this fun run dubbed as THE 500 SMILE RUN.
This is our chance to help and gives back those smiles that they’ve been waiting. Let us all support this cause. Proceeds of this event will go directly to Operation Smile Philippines.
